AMSA needed live streaming, projection, staging, audio and lighting production for their 4 day conference at the Esplanade in Fremantle.
AMSA needed an audio solution that would work well for the 4 days of presentations, plus work for their openeing ceremony choir and performances.
The client also needed the event to be fully streamed to students in the Eastern States that couldn't make it over due to COVID. AMSA wanted these students to feel like they were in person, so the quality of streamed audio and video needed to reflect this.
The client also had multiple breakout rooms that needed AV support, including screens, projectors and audio reproduction across all the spaces in the venue.
Icon completed a full conference design, and specified equipment that would work well for the 4 days of presentations and for the opening ceremony on first day. Icon used their KV2 audio system to give crystal clear audio to audiences in the room, and used an M32 console to route audio to the room and to the live stream. 6 Shure ULXD wireless handhelds were used, for panel discussions and performances.
Icon specified 4 Eclipse Showpro LED RGBWALRB Profiles to wash the stage in great light, that came up well on camera.
Using 2 Panasonic 4k PTZ, and using VMix to mix between the camera inputs and a slideshow, we routed video to the screens and to the live stream with ease. Using our 4G backup solution simultaneously, in case the venue's internet went down.
Distributed amongst the rooms were 6 of our Samsung 55'' commercial displays, which presenters used to display their slideshow presentations.
AMSA was extremely happy with the level of production and professionalism shown by Icon AV. The event went through all 4 days without any major technical problems.
