The City of Melville approached Icon AV seeking dedicated lighting and sound designers to realise a complex multi-site event. The City was looking to create a sense of reflection through multiple performance stations across the Point Walter Reserve. The entire event was to congregate at a main stage finale performance, after which people were encouraged to swim from jetty to shore in the middle of winter!
Icon AV provided a solid sound and lighting design to suit the events aesthetic and practical needs. Using our top of the line lighting fixtures, Icon lit up the spaces and created a multitude of personal and intimate spaces across the reserve.
We utilised our KV2 audio system for the finale performance, using our M32 to provide FOH and monitor mixing for some of Perth's best and most accomplished musicians for a 10 minute performance.
Icon provided a multitude of minimally invasive sound reinforcement solutions across the reserve, utilising Shure's ULXD wireless solutions for a few stations, and using QSC's K8 punchy speakers across the sites.
Using theatrical grade lighting fixtures, our mainstage performance looked the part, and made for a fantastic lead into the Jetty Jump.

Our event was located throughout a public Reserve and was scheduled in the middle of winter.
