Mike Nanning from Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company approached Icon AV for festoon type lighting to be installed and wired into the set piece for the production of Panawathi Girl at His Majestys Theatre. The lights were to be seamlessly integrated into the set piece, following its contours, with secure mounting options and minimal visible wiring.
The lights were meticulously woven into the existing structure, following the natural curves and contours of the design, with all wiring discreetly hidden. The lights were linked into the venues dimmer system to allow for a chase effect. The installation was completed on schedule and within the allocated budget, meeting all of Yirra Yaakin's requirements and enhancing the overall aesthetic of the production.
The seamless integration of the lights into the set piece, coupled with the subtle dimming capabilities, added depth and dimension to the stage, allowing for smooth transitions between scenes and moods. The installation of the festoon lighting proved to be a resounding success for the production.
